My fretless basses are not moving, wife wants a new breakfast table, so I will have to put some more stuff on the block.
This is an early 55-94, the 111th made. It will be a piece of history one day.
Just gigged with it this weekend and it killed as usual.
It has a swamp ash body and a rosewood fretboard. Features the early Bartolini electronics, which are considered by many to be the best.
Price is $2,250 shipped CONUS on the original hard shell case.
As for trades, not really looking for anything, but maybe a 5-string Lull P/J can interest me.
Pictures to follow shortly.

Sweet!!!

Yargh! Perfect specs for me - might have to flip one of my favorites for this... Looking for a good fit for my blues/classic rock band - could this be the one?!

Got a Ken Lawrence Associate 5 I might sacrifice if you or any one else is interested?

Wow. That is beautiful. I've got the same bass in LPBlue. Original Barts and pre are what put these basses on the map. People are rarely letting go of these early ones for good reason.

EDIT: Confirmed with Lakland today that this is in fact a swamp ash body. Thanks chobass for the correction.

Demo track

Do you have to purchase the music to hear said track, or is there a sample somewhere?

GLWS! I had one that was burgundy over ash with an ebony board. It is a beautiful finish.

Yeah, pretty much... I am trying to thin the herd and make some cash to make ends meet. Who would tell that six chairs would cost more than a US Lakland?
