This is a beautiful 2003 Lakland 55-94 with Nordstrand pickups and Aguilar OBP-3 preamp (3 bands with switchable mids and active/passive switch).
In great shape except for 2 dings on the headstock. I can try to photograph those if people want to see them, look in the original thread for one picture.
I replaced some of the questionable pots and had the wiring modified a bit so that you can get series/parallel/single coil on the bridge pickup for an even wider range of tones.
This is an extremely light bass (7.67 pounds according to the previous owner), but it sounds HEAVY. Amazing B string and a very warm thick overall sound. If you need more bite, the OBP-3 can add all the aggression you could want. This is a 35" bass, but I don't even notice that - it is lighter and plays easier than any other bass I've ever owned, which is saying a lot. Currently strung with DR Fat Beams. Comes with a Lakland tweed and leather case.
