Lakland 55-94 Deluxe Lined Fretless in Natural

I am going to have to unload a few basses to make ends meet, and this is one of the least played.
It is a 1998 Lakland 55-94 Deluxe Fretless with the old Bartolini pickups and electronics.
It is in excellent shape, just a few small imperfections due to normal gigging but no dings worth of notice.
It has been kept in my pet-free, smoke-free home for the past couple of years.
You won't find a teenager Lakland in better shape than this one.
To me, this is the ultimate fretless. The tone and playability of a US Lakland, empowered by the versatile Bartolini system.
The neck and board are silky smooth. If there is such a thing as too much mwah, this is it.
I will let the pictures do the talking for a while. I can't believe how gorgeous the quilt is.

Still with me? Good, so let's talk business.
I need $2,250 to ship it FedEx Ground in the original hardshell case to anywhere in CONUS. PayPal is preferred.
I will not ship it internationally, I am sorry.
I really need the money, so I am primarily looking for a cash sale, but here are some ideas of things I might consider as partial trades:
- Mike Lull or Nordy 5-string PJs
- TC Electronic RH750
- Lakland Skylines in excellent shape (so I can sell them easily)

Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask any questions.

Very nice, I've been looking for a fretless. Where does she tip the scale?

Thanks! Great question, I forgot to include the weight. It is 9 lbs even. You'll love it!

Long shot because I have never seen it in the classifieds, but would also like to try a Yamaha 2025X.

Wow. What a fantastic offering.

Could you please explain the preamp? That switch is a coil split, right?

Also, are the side dots between the fretlines?

Cheers.

Kevin, thanks for the words.

It's Volume-Blend-Treble-Mid-Bass, and the switch is a coil split for the bridge pickup (3-way: front-both-back coils). Inside the cavity there are switches where you can move the center frequency of the mid pot.

There's a diagram of the controls here:

Original version: http://lakland.com/tech-docs/bart-controls.pdf

Yes, there are dots on the side, otherwise I wouldn't be able to play it. Sorry for not showing those in the pics.

It's an awesome bass, I just wish I had more use for it and/or didn't need money. Let me know if you have any other questions!
