This bass sounds awesome and has been upgraded and matched up with a Bartolini 2 band Preamp with active/passive switch.
Great looking Ash body with some flames here and there. Made in Korea not Indonesia.
Weighs in at 9.0 lbs digital scale weighed twice.
Comes shipped with generic hardshell case.

It gives you pickup options that the 5502 doesn't. You can drop in some J bass style pickups like Nordies big singles or fat stacks or keep the soapbar thing going. This one has a great top end almost like it was maple. |

That wasn't the case if when I tried using too much high end presence with the original preamp.
