Lakland 5502D/Cherryburst quilt-top/LH3 loaded/$775

Lakland 5502D/Cherryburst quilt-top/LH3 loaded

9.6lbs; 35" scale
This is a well played, well loved example of a fine bass.
I just got it, knowing it would likely be "catch and release" for me, and so it is.
It's got is fair share of nicks and dings, though those don't photograph well. I spend an hour or so with it buffing all that out as well as I could, but they're there.
The neck, nicely grained, has some discoloration in the spots it's been played the most, and the beginnings of some fret wear. Not a problem at this point.
The ABS Lakland case it came in was either had issues before, or got them shipping to me; but one of the feet is broken, and the ABS surrounding that is cracked.
If all this sounds worse that it is, it's not really, I'd just rather disclose everything right up front that have anyone be surprised later.

I think at $800/shipped, the more than compensates for condition, which really is very nice, though well used.
