LAKLAND BOB GLAUB PJ!!! PRICE DROP!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is a beautiful 2002 Skyline Bob Glaub PJ.

This is very rare for two reasons.

1) BG PJ's were not offered in the Skyline line of basses.

2) This bass is in Candy Apple Red which was only offered for a limited time.

I bought this bass a few years ago and had it converted to a PJ by Carl Pedigo (Lakland's master luthier).

He also installed stacked Tone/Volume knobs and a bone nut, which, again, are rarities for a Skyline.

Carl mentioned that this bass feels and plays like a US Lakland.

The feel and the sound are remarkable!

I am only selling this to buy another Lakland.....

here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure:

The bass for sale is the one in the middle (with a few "friends" - not mine...but I wish!):

I have quite a bit of money into this and a nice SKB molded (P-bass shaped) case which will accompany it.

Would like $875 shipped - CAN DO $850 LOCAL.....would prefer not to do PayPal.

please e-mail or PM me with questions or if you are interested.

thank you!

Peace:

Doug

More info on PIckups and Wiring

I'm interested, but I'd be curious to know how the pick ups are wired, what the pickups are and how they are wired.
Is there any noise if the J p/u is soloed?
Thanks

The pickups are a "matched" set of Fralins.....the J is a split coil to minimize the noise.....

I will check this evening for any noise issues.....altough I do not recall any.

As far as "wired" can you be more specific?

if you come to the guitar show this weekend at the Elgin Holiday Inn express (I90 and RTE 31) and look for Leo's Gear (after about noon) you can try it out....

PM or e-mail me if you want to try it before...

I've played this bass several times--definitely the nicest Skyline Glaub I've played, and the Fralin PJ combo is killer! Good luck with the sale, Douglas.
