Lakland Darryl Jones 5 (DJ5) in White/Pearl/Maple

Sign in to disble this ad
I have been spending too much money on basses recently and need to recoup some of it.

Here's a flawless Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones 5 (DJ5), made in Korea in early 2008, in white with a white pearl pickguard and a maple fretboard. All original electronics. Lakland pickups. Weighs 10lbs, plays and sounds awesome. One of the best Skyline necks I have played.

There isn't a single mark on it, never gigged, kept in smoke free environment. You'd be hard pressed to find a better looking DJ5 in the market.

I love this bass and I am in no rush to move it, so I am asking a firm price of $1,500 shipped FedEx CONUS. My wife says it's the most beautiful bass I own, I won't be able to sell it for less without upsetting her.

It came to me on a Fender hard shell case and that's what it will be shipped on. I will not ship internationally.

Not looking for trades, since I am in need of the money. The only one I can think of is a Yamaha Billy Sheehan Attitude II LTD in sea foam green or lava red, in flawless condition. Other than that I will probably say no to trades.

This is it, a very sought after, discontinued bass from Lakland. Hope it can be well treated in its new home.

Thanks for looking!

Very beautiful. Would you be interested in some bergantino cabs on trade?

Hey, thanks for the interest. If I had not bought a Bergantino cab just last week, we could be talking. Now I need to pay for that expense.

Bump for a good guy. A couple of months ago, I would have been setting up a lemonade stand to help pay for this. These DJ's are coming up more and more infrequently, so folks should jump on this soon.

These come in waves and then they're hard to find. This is one of the better combo color combinations. It's worth every cent IMHO. Great TBer too. Cant miss, Bump.

Thanks for the compliments folks. I just found the original pickguard so that is included in the sale. I have responded several PMs and there are some offers. I am thinking about them.

Thanks guys!
Here's a new trade idea... It seems like I am getting a lot of fretless action in the near future... I would consider a fretless Lakland 55-94 or a fretless US JO5 (55-60). Plus some cash from me, of course.

That thing is gorgeous. I had one just like it- changed the pickup covers to white and put stack knobs on it. The neck on these is incredible!
