Lakland DJ5 and Fender AM Jazz Dlx 5

Sign in to disble this ad
I am selling my Lakland Darryl Jones 5 and my Fender American Jazz Deluxe 5.

Lakland DJ5:

Pearl White
Audere JZ3 Preamp
Nordstrand NJ5FS pickups
Flush Mount Dunlop Straplocks
Overall condition: 9/10 - Perfect except for ding on back of headstock from previous owner.
Includes SKB HSC

This thing is a beast - it sounds great, plays like butter, and has extremely low action. I replaced the Lakland pickups with Nordstrand NJ5FS's and added the Dunlop flush mount strap locks.

$1150

Fender American Jazz Deluxe 5 string *SALE PENDING*
Ash/Maple - 34" scale - 5 inline tuners
Built in 1999 or 2000
Includes FBass Gigbag

This bass was once owned by Adrian Garcia. (I did not buy the bass directly from him, but his name and address was on the box it was shipped in and it looks exactly like the bass listed on his website.)
I have replaced the original bridge with a Hipshot "B" model" have added an Audere JZ5D preamp, shielded the bass throughout, and and have had the bass professionally set up.

This bass plays like a dream, and is very light

Overall condition 7/10
There are dings on the tummy cut, and on the back of the headstock, as well as some small scratches on the top of the body. These were all made by previous owners. I actually feel like this adds to the overall mojo of the bass as you can tell it has been played and has not set in someone's case. It has a great sound unplugged and sounds even better when plugged in.

$750

Sorry but no trades at this time

Will you consider shipping to Canada?

Cheers

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you are willing to pay the fees. Next day shipping is my preferred method as I have found that there are a lot less potential issues (i.e. shipping damage) because less people are handling the bass. Could be expensive - you can check if you want (origin zip is 73170).
