Cool Lakland DJ5 with NTBT preamp!

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is a beautiful Lakland Skyline DJ5 with a Bartolini NTBT preamp. This discontinued bass is in EXCELLENT condition. For the obsessive, there is typical very light surface scratching from being played, and some more light scratching near the string tree from strings installation. This bass is in incredible shape as seen in the pictures. Comes with gig bag.

The NTBT preamp sounds simply amazing. It of course has that to die for DJ5 neck profile and modified J body shape that makes it the most comfy bass model I've ever played. I love these basses, and my white one is my main player, but I can't justify two.

Should also mention that the battery compartment route is under the pickguard, hence no plastic compartment thingy on the back side.

I need to buy a lotto ticket or something. That's too nice for you to keep and for me not to have.

Neck Profile

Is the neck profile different from the other Lakland basses? I have played a few, (they play beautifully) but never a DJ5.

While I've only played the 55-xx series and JO5, and not side by side, I'd venture to say the DJ5 is a bit shallower front to back than the others.
