I have a 2004 Lakland 55-01, Black & Maple with a brand new factory pre-amp in it. ( Did you know the pre-amp blows when you are stupid & put the battery in backwards?)
She wears a couple of battle scars on the headstock and the usual fingernail swirls every black bass has... but all in all a sold player!! I just put a new set of Silver Stars on her... very interesting strings. I like them.
