Lakland Skyline Decade FS/FT

TRADED

Up for sale or trade is my Lakland Skyline Decade. It is the version with the single coil Chisonics in the chrome surrounds. Passive. The bass is in excellent condition.
Beautiful. Cherry red mahogany body with a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid block position markers. The neck is perfect.
You want a bass with incredible action and playability? This is it.
Currently strung with D'Addario Chromes with lots of life left.
If you are unfamiliar with these basses, they excel at giving an older school type sound with a wider frequency response. Hot passive pickups provide a great P bass sound but much deeper and a great Jaco sound also but fuller and punchier.
I am not sure of the weight but it isn't heavy at all I would say 8+ lbs.
Comes with an SKB HSC.
I hate to sell her but I need an active, funkier type of bass for a hip hop project I'll will be working on.
I will listen to trades but I am mainly interested in a Lakland 44-02 or 55-02 or a Carvin SB4000 or SB5000.
$800 plus shipping to the lower 48.

Skylines were all single-coil passive, I think.

btw, i'm near certain they do offer these with chisonic humbuckers and a single/humbucking coil switch. i had this config in a skyline hb and it was awesome.

Yes. There is hum. True single coils will always give you hum. But a humbucker will never sound as good as a single coil.
These Chisonic single coils sound incredible BTW and I personally wouldn't have it any other way but then again I am a single-coil fan.
