I bought this bass last year, and after being disatisfied with the white pearl finish I sent it off to Pat Wilkins who worked his magic and painted the body & headstock surf green. He finished it with a blue pearl clear-coat which under the right lighting is a beauty to behold. Pat recently accquired the Skyline badges, so I had him affix it to the refinished headstock. If you were to buy the white bass used you're looking at around $900-$1000 depending on the bass, and the refinish will run you ~$400 and a 6 week wait. Save some money and time for a truly one-of-a-kind bass!

The bass as I received it (minus the gold leaf PG, that was my addition)
Diggin it. I contacted Lakland a few months ago about custom ordering one in sea foam green and got turned down. They should really produce some in this color. It's a beauty for sure. I got a white one with chi's and a gray one. One of them may get a make over soon.
