SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! As new 2009 Plek'd Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn 4 string bass
Seriously as new. I purchased this factory new in April 2010 and am the original owner. Was manufactured Dec 2009 and factory Plek'd as all the new Skylines are.
No dings in the head stock, no body rub, no dents, not even normal player wear with the exception of some
extremely light pick wear on the front you probably can't even notice.
[update] The only visual thing with mentioning are two super small chips in the top coat of paint near the neck pocket. It must have occurred during assembly as I've never taken the neck off this instrument, and it's in a spot where no wear would ever occur. You'll only never notice it if you're looking down the neck towards the body. Otherwise while playing the bass it's not really visible. Honestly, if I didn't point them out you'd probably never notice them but I like to point out every nit picky little thing so there's no surprises. You can see the black base coat of paint where it appears the red top coat is slightly chipped. I've done my best to photograph them, but they're small and in a really hard spot to get a good focus. Like all photos of visual things like this they always look worse due to the closeup zoomed macro shot.
Pro setup, awesome action, new Lakland SS strings, ready to play. Includes Lakland branded gig bag, and Schaller strap lock buttons.
I currently have three Lakland Skyline's in my possession. They're totally awesome instruments and extremely well made. You can hear recordings done with this bass by clicking the Mumu Tutu link in my sig. I believe everything was recorded with this specific instrument (though strung with LaBella flats) through a MESA BB750 with the exception of Nervous Release which I believe was recorded with the Fender P I also have for sale.
