Fans of this model know it's a cool bass with a unique voice of it's own. 2 lipstick pickups with a 3-band preamp, passive bypass mode... It's in very good condition with no major dings. I don't have the original case, but I'm sure I have something to sell it in.
I played this bass a lot over the years, but in the last 6, it has not had much use, except for recently being featured on the LOG CD Resonance on the track "Scheff Salad". It's a wonderful bass, very versatile, plays great, etc.
I'm asking $900 plus shipping.
The only trade possibilities I'm interested in are a lightweight Musicman Stingray 5H, or a lightweight G&L L2500 (non-Tribute). If there is a price difference, I'll deal with it. For these instruments... lightweight means below 9.5lbs. |

Ed, you don't realize it, but I got my gold Skyline Scheff after you gushed about this one over at the old Dudepit.
I'm very happy that I bought one. The neck on mine is to die for! No foolin'!
GLWTS!

Someone will be in for a real treat!
However, I hate to see ed selling this prized bass.

The bass is currently on hold. Firm buyer, but I need to get it inspected... pots are acting funny after not being used much. So, consider this one gone folks. |

No pot I've ever inspected has caused a sale to fall through. |

You just might catch a few posts by Ed himself as he describes his experiences with this bass. Watch out for the high volumes of traffic... lol

But I just have to look around the rack and see what gets played and what doesn't. After a few years... it's time to recirculate the energy, get something else. |
