Lakland Slapmaster 975 shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
Howdy folks,

Time to clean up and start the thread over.

It's a single Dark Star with the Bartolini NTMB-L preamp. Smokin sounds out of this bass, but I need a fiver so it's out.
Hipshot Ultralight Detuner as well.

Muchos Pictures at the auction here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280028867994

It's set up for make an offer....so make an offer...lol

There's not much I'll turn down at this point (need to go ahead and pay for some things)

Any questions, let me know!
Thanks,
Ryan

You're calling this bass the "Slapmaster"... How does it sound fingerstyle with the single Dark Star pup in the bridge position? Does this restrict the range of tones you can get from it?

Yeah, that's not my name for it - that was Dan Lakin's thing. (Although the actual slapmaster is a USA with the bridge pickup in the actual MM spot a bit closer to the neck). It's a pretty flexible bass - I'm a big fan of the Bartolini preamp, that gets me where I need to go.
