t is one of the very early ones that were made - serial number 089 from 1999.
it is sherwood green with matching headstock ( i'm told now it is now $300 extra for a matcning headstock).
i heave done one mod to it which i think is the greatest mod for any 2 jazz bass type pickup setup -
there is a small toggle switch between the 2 volume knobs that gives you the option of switching the pickups form parallel to series wiring .
in series mode it sounds more like a p-bass - it becomes louder & fatter - more low end and a hair less top end .
it is in very good condition . some body nicks here & there on the bottom near strap button and on the back and some small marks on the headstock .
i've kept flatwounds on it for the past 5 or 6 years . has original frets .
original creme colored hard shell case and chrome pickup cover for neck pickup .
these basses are now selling new for somewhere between $3,500 -3,900 .
sorry don't have photo at the moment - but can supply one later .
i am asking $2,600 . call 917-678-7103 or send reply here . |
