Lakland US Duck Dunn (rare) - Aged Oly White Precision Goodness

Offered at $2200, shipped in original white Lakland hard case, within North America. No shipping ouside N.A., sorry. Not seeking trades on this one, need the funds. Paypal preferred.

The serial number on this bass is DD#20, there are not many like it. A Duck Dunn bass is a P-bass with a Jazz-width (1.5") neck width. This one has a Vintage Olympus White finish that is yellowing nicely over time, with classic red tort PG. There are holes for a pickguard cover, but I do not have the PG cover. Bound rosewood fretboard with pearl blocks.

This bass has been played, no doubt, but is void of major dings. There are some indents, not past the finish, on the back of the bass, but do not photograph well. The headstock is clean, you can tell its been babied by its various owners.

Weight is 9.02 lbs on my digital scale. Feels incredible to play.

Included is the original white tolex Lakland woodie case, which has the red fur inside and are highly sought after as well. The case shows normal wear and tear, but is fully functional.

Pickups were alleged by previous owner to be Hansons. They sound like vintage P-bass pickups to me, the bass sounds like a vintage P.

I have added Dunlop straplocks and currently strung with Ernie Ball Cobalts for just a little more kick.

On to the pics:

Ah my old bass, a great one. It was originally owned by Branden Campbell of Neon Trees.
Here's the very same bass in action on Lopez Tonight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPJmDh4B2MA

I was not aware of the connection to Branden, one of my favorite Lakland players.
maybe I should hold onto it?
