Lakland USA Bob Glaub with Jazz profile neck - MINT

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

Here is a stunning USA Bob Glaub with a jazz width maple neck (1.5 inches width at the nut) and bird's eye maple fretboard. The grain is beautiful, especially the bird's eye maple on the fretboard. There is not one scratch on this bass. Serial number is BG110. It's an early one with the Lindy Fralin pickup. Body is Ash and is figured beautifully as seen in the photos below. This bass really nails the vintage P bass sound. The neck is really fast and smooth. As expected from a Lakland, the fretwork is perfect, not one dead spot and the action is nice and low with no fret buzz. I used mostly flats on this bass and I don't slap, so there is no fret wear. Has Dunlop strap buttons. It's pretty light, I'd say around 9 lbs., but I can check when I get my hands on a scale. Comes with the stock chrome pickup cover. Included is the Lakland G&G case with that really cool dark red carpeting on the inside (can take a photo, if requested). Case is in excellent condition. Shipping is free in the continental US and I will accept Paypal. I'm asking $2000 for this one because it is so damn clean and perfect. These go for around $3300 brand new.

Wow! Beautiful BG!!
I own a BG w/jazz taper neck and Lindy Fralin PU also, and can honestly say that it is without a doubt, the best bass i've ever played.... and i've played some great basses. You won't find a better sounding or playing P than these USA Laklands. Their 'famed' necks are perfect.

Good luck with the sale. Whoever gets this will be a happy fellow/gal.

I had a BG4 with the fralin and it was so nice sounding! I wish Fralin made P5 pickups! if so, that would be in my BG5 PJ!
