Lakland USA Hollowbody Deluxe.....excellent condition!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Looking to sell my 2001 USA Lakland HB Deluxe. The bass is in excellent condition, it would be mint be mint if weren't for a small blemish near the neck pocket (see pics in slide show linked below). The blemish is nothing more than a small crack in the paint. Nothing to worry about....Carl Pedigo claims this a "normal" occurrence. It can happen due to climate changes or when taking the neck off/reinstalling the neck. If I didn't disclose the blemish, chances are you might have never seen it. I just want to be 100% honest and fully disclose any and all blemishes on the bass. If I did not accurately represent this blemish, send the bass back no questions asked for a full refund. It is currently strung with JOBO flats. It plays and sounds phenomenal!!! The bass comes with the OHSC. The bass is currently located in the CF/WL area in Iowa (Denver, IA to be more specific). I am asking $2500 shipped. Thanks!!

IIRC, the bass weighs approx 8.5. FWIW, where are you at in IA?? My better half is in the Waterloo/CF area. That is where the bass is at.

In the ten years these basses have been in production, less than a hundred have been made! Here is your chance to score an extremely special bass at an even more special price!!!!!

Really, this is amazing.

If it had been in gold, it would be mine long ago. I'm so shallow...

But seriously, these are fantastic basses, and the Barts IMO fit this bass tremendously well.

My biggest TalkBass regret was trading away my old USA Hollowbody away. I wish I was in a situation to buy it from you.

1.6" - more specs here, http://lakland.com/hollowbody.htm

Regarding trades, I would prefer a cash sale. However, I am "open" to a partial trade.....the trade bait has to be something worthwhile.

It depends on how much cash you are willing to throw down with the trade. But in reality, if I took your bass in on trade I would flip it for cash. Because of that, if you are serious about my bass, try selling you Ray and then buying my bass outright.
