Larkin Custom Reacter 5B

I had this up a couple years back and wound up taking it down. Since then I've tried a few times to make 35" scale work for me. Isn't happening and it is time I recognized it. This is the Reacter that Chris Larkin shows on his website as an example of the what he can do when he is allowed to pull out all the stops.

Link to a more thorough description plus pics.

Chris Larkin 5B Custom Reacter

Since the last time I posted this I had a couple minor dings which were buffed out by GH Reno in Tulsa (he does great work incidentally). I can try and take a pic of the spots, but to be honest I am not sure I can even locate where they were after the buffing. I had the wiring redone/cleaned up a bit by a local tech (still has the original Citronic preamp). At some point after the visit to GH Reno, the bass has acquired a slight finish mar under the bass knob. Not through to the wood. Probably can be buffed out also, but I've not done so.

For any trades I require...
5 strings
34"scale
FULL 19mm spacing
Lined, if fretless

...and I would strongly prefer
P/J pickups
active/passive switching
Traditional styling (need a bass that won't get me fired from a blues pick up gig)
not solid red

All trades +/- cash as needed although I am probably not interested in adding a lot on my end. Any instrument that is significantly more than this Larkin is probably too pricey for to take out and work with.

For an outright sale I will leave the price at $3000 since that's what I posted it for last time. That price is not likely to budge as I posted this bass when the market was really depressed due to the economy.

PS: Although it isn't remotely a traditional instrument, I could be tempted by a Pedulla Pentabuzz wide.

Messages returned.

note: Not really going to be interested in trade offers that aren't 19mm at bridge and 34" scale. Preferably high end old school'esque kinda vibe.
