Last Chance!Warwick Double Buck$$-$700

Sign in to disble this ad
PICKUP ONLY, I AM NOT IN TOWN FOR 2 MONTHS

I have a exellent condition emerald green Warwick Double Buck $$ 4 string forsale to fund a trip to Europe. This bass kicks ass and i have extras to include!

For $700you get the Warwick, a $200 hardshell ATA case, a set up from a local luthier and a new bone nut which increases the sustain of this beast for days!

New this bass would run you $1300+ and with the case and setup/new nut you would be looking around $1700. I have had this bass for 4 months and have loved every second of it!

-Vince

Edit: Pics and the last one shows a small scratch/indentation in the wood? Nothing amazing and its small. Also some small belt scratches on the back that can be seen when turned to the light.

Pics can be found here.

I've never actually owned a Warwick, but this one looks really cool, so I'd like to ask some questions if I may: How heavy is this one? Any neck dive? Is the neck super-fat?

And I know tone is hard to describe, but can you give it a shot?

Do you take paypal (don't tell anyone I said this, but I'd be willing to cough up the fees as well if I go for it)?

This Warwick is unlike any other Warwick I have ever played in terms of weight. It is made primarily of swamp ash which makes it incredibly light. There is no neck dive that I am aware of but the neck is a bit thicker than say a fender jazz bass but I have big hands and am used to this so its nothing for me.

As far as tone, this bass is a machine! It has 2 coil tapping switches which allows for a mass amount of sonic difference with just a few switches and twisting of the knobs. You can go from rip roaring full thundering bass to a mid driven punk picking madness. I am not good at describing really but this bass can so soooo much more than I am capable of describing or even playing!

-Vince

P.S. I do take paypal but again this is for pickup only unless you can get somein in LV to get it for you and then ship it to your place.

Well, crap. I apparently need some sort of glasses so I can read LARGE type. I managed to miss the part about no shipping. Anyway, I'd probably go for it if I could figure out how to get it. Guess I'm "stuck" with my G&L for now.

Again to reitterate I will not be in town for 2 months and need the money for this bass in the next week and a half. I have no way to ship this bass being 2500+ miles away. If you know anyone in town they are more than ok to get it and ship it for you but otherwise its pickup only. I understand itd sell if i could ship but not being in that situation i have no other choice.

Any Vegas TB'er's want to step up and ship this thing? For a few bucks, of course.

I checked Priceline and it costs more to fly out and back than I want to spend right now. And I reeealy don't care for the drive. With gas prices the way they are, it'd probably cost as much to drive anyway.

I've had my eye on this bass the past few days but man I just can't figure a way to pick it up hah. How would someone gain access to the bass if they were to pick it up, since you have stated that there is no way to ship it. There has to be someone to give the buyer access to the bass. Sweet talk em into shipping it!

In the end this is mostly a bump for a good deal.

Edit: The green color of the bass gets me hawt! Awesome color.

My parents will let someone come get the bass but it is way too much trouble for them to get it boxed up and ship it.
