Hey folks,
I *hate* to do this, but I recently won a lawsuit, and until the losing party pays up (yeah, right), I still owe my attorneys a couple grand. On the block is my Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass V, ash body ($100 upcharge from Fender), pao ferro fingerboard, excellent shape (a few minor dings & surface scratches from normal playing, but NEVER abused), beautiful translucent teal green finish.
Asking price is $1250 shipped to continental USA. I'll ship anywhere else you'd like, including internationally; PM me for details. Please send me your offers and I will reply promptly. I AM OPEN TO OFFERS.
I'm possibly open to trades with cash; I'm not interested in trading up at this time, though, as I'm primarily selling to raise cash. PM me with your trade or cash offers.
I've had this bass exactly 1 month and 10 days

It's been gigged perhaps a dozen times, mostly at church, and even then as a backup to my MTD. It has a 1-month old set of DR Black Beauties on it, too. I am a professional and I take good care of my tools; this instrument is clean.
This bass was made in 2001 (it has the 18v preamp).

Please note, although I've done my best to accurately represent the condition, this bass is USED, though, which means it's not mirror finish/flawless, so please don't get upset if you find a scratch here & there - I will take some close-up pictures of any scratches I find and post them soon, if anyone would like to see them.
I understand the need to try out a bass in person and hear it through your rig before you commit to it. With this in mind, I will offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked return if you just don't like the feel of it, the sound doesn't do it for you with your rig, your dog is scared of it, etc: You just pay shipping both ways and I'll take care of you.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I can record some sound clips if you'd like. I can also take specific pics of anything you want to see; just ask. My email address is
mail@davemuscato.com and my cell number is (573) 424-0420, or you can just post in this thread, or send me a PM.
Best,
