Some of you may recognize this bass from my "what's it worth thread". This bass's story is described in greater detail on that thread, but, in short, Its a 1976 P bass with a Nordy P pickup, an EMG select J, and a Badass II Bridge (my plan was to upgrade the J at some point. I also have an EMG select P that I will throw in for free since I have no use for it now.) The control cavity is covered in copper shielding and the electronics were done by Tim Cloonan of Callowhill Guitars.

Some doubt was cast on that dating due to the fact that the logo on the head stock is apparently in the wrong place. I don't have any info about this. Not sure it makes much difference since the bass is no show room piece. Also note the scuffs and dings in the pictures. Tried to get all of that best I could.

This bass has that ballsy fender tone. I never understood why someone would play with a pick until I got this bass. It just has that aggressive bite. Anyway, it sounds great and plays great. It could use a setup, because I don't have the right allen key for the bridge.

I would like to get $700 OBO but interested in trades for RIGHTIES. 5'rs, GL, prefered, but all trades considered

yea I think it actually looks pretty cool. I thought about taking apart a pedal putting it in there. There is plenty of room.
