In your original post, the picture did no have the pearloid blocks but the newer pics they do. Are those afermarket paste ons or actual block. If the later, who put them on?

That's a real beaut.

Per the original post... the MOP blocks are the real deal put on by Brian Barrett at the Low End Shop...

I had sent the bass without the MOP blocks to Brian for a check up and FedEx had busted the neck. Brian built me a new neck!!! That is the new neck in the pictures later in the thread.

I love my LEJ5 and would die if that happened to me. Actually I think the FedEx guy might die !

FedEx did the right thing and paid in full. O got a new neck with MOP blocks. I had to get in line with other basses being made. Worth it!!!

Any soundclips? If not, I'd appreciate any descriptions you might be able to share about the tone of the bass (60's vs 70's, scooped vs. even, etc). Thanks!
