Noname Les Paul-style bass SOLD $175 + shipping/fees SOLD
This is a fantastic little bass that I took on as a project over a year ago, but it has gone to the pile in favor of other stuff. It's a short scale, chambered LP-style bass with a very Hofner Beatle bass-style tone. Two humbucker-looking pickups with LP-style controls and a floating wood bridge that is height adjustable. When I got it there was a rattle canned black finish on the neck, back and sides. I stripped most of it off and finished the neck with tru-oil. Didn't finish the body, but it's great as is and is near completion, or could be the start for a different direction (possibly an LP-style Bass VI conversion?). I dowled the screw holes for the tuning keys and widened the big holes for standard Gotoh-style Keys. I've got the original tuning keys if you want them. It's actually really fun to play with pretty low action and a very Hofner-style sound. Neck will be removed for shipping.

Aohhhhhh ma lord. Gotta go round up 175$. If I can, I'll be back, and this shall be mine. Mwuhahaha

Just to make sure I get this. It has no finish on the body? The bass is fully functional besides that right? Neck width at the body and at the nut?

There is a stain and clear on the top of the body, but the back and sides have been stripped or partially stripped. See the links below the three main pictures for more pictures. Neck width is 1 5/8" wide at the nut and 2 1/8" at the body's edge.

I'm hoping no one is before me. It is the only chambered, short-scale bass I've seen with that pickup placement/configuration. I was interested in buying it when it was in parts, but Brian said it had a 1.75" nut which is too wide for me. 1 5/8" is definitely workable for me.
