My wife and I decided we are moving to Ontario and therefore I will not be playing for some time to come. I'm also selling my amp/cab's rig over in amp's for sale.
This Skyline 55-01 is in brand new condition. I just got it a few weeks ago from Bass Central. As soon as I got it I installed a new set of Bartolini MK5's pup's and a Bartolini 5.2 NTMB 3 band preamp. It comes strung with a new set of DR Highbeams. This bass just sings. The bass has been "Plecked" the action is low with No fret buzz. It weighs in at 8 lbs. 12 oz's on my digital scale (give or take a few oz's.) There is no case or gig bag but it will ship in the same box's that I received from Bass Central I also added the Tort pickguard from Jennies Pick-guards. The only reason I have chrome pickup screws is because Best Bass Gear was out of stock of the black screws when I placed my order. Now, there is only one issue with the bass. I looked over the preamp install very well after it put it in and it works perfectly "except", when you max the pan pickup pot all the way over to the bridge pickup the pickup cuts out for some reason.. but if you back it off max just a touch the bridge pickup is on full. Not sure if it's a bad pot or ? and I just left it as good. Everything else works perfect and is issue free. The bass itself is in 9.8/10 condition and I only say that because the bass is used now that I have had it for a few weeks. This is a great playing bass and tone for days... all set up and ready the play! I paid $824.00 shipped for the bass, $217.00 shipped for the Bart pup's and $150.00 plus shipping for the preamp. The Tort guard was $59.00 plus shipping... that's a total of about $1275.00. I'll let it go for $599.00 shipped in the lower 48 States. Check it out.... sorry for the crap pictures! I almost forgot... the pre has active/passive on the vol knob and a push/pull mid freq. switch on the mid knob.
