SOLD!!!

AWESOME, one of a kind Greco Thunderbird bass. I bought her from a fellow TBer and am letting her go for about what I paid. This baby is truly a one of a kind and are very rare as well. Greco is a very high quality builder in Japan. This is a "lawsuit bass" with some MAJOR upgrades. Like the Gibson, the bass is neck-thru. This one also has Bartolini USA pickups and a active Bartolin USA active pre-amp. The pickups are Bart's version of the T-Bird pickups. It has a USA Hipshot Bass Xtender (drop D tuner). The bridge is also a USA Hipshot solid milled bridge.

The paint is a pro "flop-flop" paint job in which the tone of the color changes a little at different angles and/or lighting (very trick and expensive). She also wears a Carbon Fiber pickguard and truss rod cover. Action is crazy low and tone is superb. The bass is very light too. Comes with a real Gibby Hardshell case as well! Plays and sounds better (IMHO) than any Gibby T-bird I've owned or put my hands on! Japanese build quality is simply amazing! $775 +ship firm which is a steal for this bass (it won't last long at this price)!

Edit, pic of included Gibson Blackbird case added.

It's there, but not as bad as some T-birds I've played. Prob in part due to the heavy Hipshot bridge.

How would you compare the neck dive of this bass to your average P bass?

A little greater, but not severe. I've owned and played basses w far more dive than this.
