Marco P-Bass - Awesome Tigerwood Board! $1200!

Sign in to disble this ad
This bass is brand new. I've played it for a total of about an hour and it's one of the best P-basses I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The tigerwood board is amazing looking, as is the flame maple neck. Marco is still relatively unknown, but makes some amazing instruments!

The bass will come with a gig bag, and is wearing a brand new set of DR Lo-Riders.

Here's a quick and dirty sound clip:

Marco P-bass

Marco P > EA iamp350 > M-audio mobile pre > Pro Tools 9

Only processing is slight compression with a Waves LA-3A plugin.

$1500 $1300 shipped!!

Very nice, Marco is the man.
First time I've heard his P-pickup, sounds great.
Great builder, great guy.
I would love a fretless version of this.
Oh, more GAS !!!!

I'm not crazy about the pickguard (but that's easily remedied) but that fretboard... drool worthy. GLWTS.

This thing haunts my dreams....

That is one unique and beautiful creation. This is the most striking bass in my opinion I've seen on these boards in a long long time.

I wish so bad but, helas, it is not made to be..

Best of luck (i.e. please sell soon so I can mourn, grieve and go on with my life!!)

Marco makes some of the most unique and well-made basses I've ever seen. You'll find many lesser P's out there for many thousands of dollars more than this one...

I've owned some very nice basses in my life, and Marco's custom jobs are on par with Nordstrand, MTD and others.... with a more "organic" and "woody" feel than either of those.

Free bump for an awesome bass.
