Hello Folks,
Just bought a new bass today, so I guess something has to go.
I have here a 2000 Marcus Miller bass in Vintage Natural. If you know MM basses, you know they can vary from being "so-so", to being excellent groove machines.
I am happy to report this is one hell of a groove machine. This bass is so good that I sold it, regretted it, and when it came up for sale again, I snatched it back.
Bass weighs 8.9 lbs, pretty light for an MM. Neck has no buzzes or dead spots, and of course the pickups are in the 70's position. Equally at home with a fingerstyle and the slap groove. Small ding at the bottom, but other than that its a great players quality bass.
A few months ago, I plunked money down on a
John East preamp. Best investment you can make for these basses! No need to change out the single coil pickups, this preamp is fantastic. Takes the bass to an entirely different level.
Now I recognize, there might be some who want the bass in its
natural, Original state. For those folks, I would offer the bass at
680.00, shipping included within the CON USA.
If you want the
whole thing, the Bass, the original preamp, AND the John East Preamp, It will be
950.00. shipping included.
Remember, the pre alone costs 350.00, and you don't see a lot available on the used market. (Probably because they're so good

) see here.
