My thoughts exactly. Sexy bass, regardless of whether it's named after a condiment.

This Mayones Elegance is a beauty! I've spent some time looking through their website. They have some fantastic builds. If I had the funds, I'd gladly take it off your hands. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks ! ... there's now another Mayones (5) up on TB, so they're gradually becoming more evident.

Wow. Looks sweet, sounds great in that clip. Growly, smooth, nice. I haven't seen Jimmy use his yet. $1,999 is pretty tempting.

I would say my-YONE-us.

Kinda looks like a Goncalo Alves top...a real beauty whatever it is.

Bump for this forlorn 6-string.

Cheers.

Gorgeous instrument I wish I could afford.
As far as the name goes. The name of company comes from nick name of the guy who started the company. In Poland Mayones spelled Majonez it's pretty much same as Mayonnaise so to make Mayones sound properly you would say Mayo-ness (ness would sound like its used in monster from Loch-ness) I hope it makes sense
Sorry. English is my second language

I could be wrong, but the top looks like Indian Apple

Either way, a beautiful 6er , however you say it. And with Noll/Lefay guts, I bet it sounds amazing, and unique

ME6

Thanks, guys (above) for all the positive/helpful comments and the current interest in this bass. Looks like it'll be moving-on sometime this week !
Had a query re. specs./spacing - the bridge (close-up below) is adjustable via the hex.screws (so bridge spacing is infinitely, within reason, variable):-
