*SOLD* - Rickenbacker 4003 - black 2005(?). Swapped the white pickguard and truss cover to black, AND replaced the original pickups with the newer Ric adjustable/pole pickups. Replaced the chrome surround with Pickguardian plastic surrounds, but the chrome is included. I was going to replace the bridge with the Hipshot version, but never got to it. This was a player, and has some beauty marks. There are several small dings on face, one on rear edge; pitting of chrome on bridge and pickup surround. No structural or electronic issues whatsoever. Comes w/original Ric case, original pickguard, case candy, Schaller strap ends, and pickup cover (not pictured). $1300 shipped.

*SOLD* - Hofner - black Icon Series. Nearly new - strung with LaBella Beatle flatwounds. No case. $225 shipped.

Italia Mondial - In good shape, everything works. The huge neck pickup does exactly what one would expect, and a couple of cool things one wouldn't. One non-structural crack in the top (attempted to photo). Strung with new-ish D'Addario Chrome flats. No case, but I may have a gig bag for it. $400 shipped.

90's Gibson Les Paul Bass - the active version, TB Plus pickups. REALLY fun bass, actually - balances surprisingly well, can get that T-Bird tone and then some, fast neck. Another player, with pick wear and a corner chunk removed from the rear side of the headstock by a previous owner (tried to photo). Gig bag. $550 shipped.

*SOLD* - Maeari - Crazy Japanese fretless - maple neck and fretboard, sunburst Jetsons-looking body with herringbone binding, P/J pickups, weird brass bridge design (which, honestly, should be ditched for a Badass or similar). Can't sugar-coat this - kinda heavy. Some non-playing-related scratches in fretboard; small dings; extra strap button hole on heel. Comes with w/cheapo chipboard case. $250 shipped.

More pics of everything (plus other non-bass stuff I'm selling as well): click here.

Not really looking to trade - this is a basement reclamation. I need more gear like I need a hole in the head. The only things I'm interested in are a Fender Jazz Bass Special fretless or Eminence Kappalite 3012LF speakers.

There's a piezo in the bridge as well, though I've never had much use for it.

I'm guessing you can slide the thumbrest on the Italia to a different location as well? Pretty cool.

Indeed, although the wood-on-gloss-black look throws me - I was going to swap it out for a black Fender thumbrest...

In fact, I'll throw one in if someone wants to do just that.

I would like to start playing fretless and your fretless seems pretty good for the price !
You say it's heavy, I have a Fender P-bass; is it almost the same weight ?
And for the bridge and dings, are they affecting the sound much or it's ok ?

Depends on the P-bass - we talking 70's? I'll try to get it on a scale tonight. A wide strap makes it perfectly comfortable to me; YMMV.

The only effect of the dings is cosmetic, and the only effect of the bridge is during string changes. I have an old Bad Ass I sitting around that would work great; I could throw it in for a few bucks.

I've played a few Italia Mondials, both with F-hole and Sportster. Great basses for the price. I'd probably re-acquire one (this one) if it wasn't black :X :P

I have a Mondial (in a classic baby blue type color) and absolutely love it. I'm as apt to choose that as I am my Ric or 'Ray.

I tend to go with the piezo over the neck pickup though.

Ok, would you send to Santiago, Chile? If so, do you have an estimate for the final price?

Price-cut bump. $350 for the Italia, $500 (gulp) for the Gibby.
