MIA Fender Jazz 5 w/ Lindy Fralin single coils

MIA Fender Jazz V, sunburst w/ RW fingerboard, passive Lindy Fralin single coils (180$ value added) installed and a replacement Fender Deluxe USA V bridge (45$ value added) that allows for strings through body or bridge (stock bridge only allowed through body, replacement bridge otherwise pretty much identical to original)

The Fralin pickups are brand new, 2.5% over wound (very subtle boost in punch) and staggered heights so the middle magnets are slightly taller than the outer ones... very important on a Fender V b/c Fender's fingerboards are very rounded. I sold this bass a few months ago but when i was getting it ready to ship i noticed the original Fralins had had some issues so i had to cancel the sale, send the pickups to Fralin and pay 65$ for a rewind. but Fralin chose rather to build me brand new pickups, thus the custom winding and staggered magnets.

excellent B string and string to string balance. my previous 5'er was a F Bass BN5, which i never regretted selling thanks to this sweet Fender, even before the Fralins, which put this bass on par w/ anything anywhere. 2001 model i guess based on serial # ZO135152

clean looking bass w/ typical wear: a few flecks of paint off (pix), a little bruise on the back of the neck (pix) which you can feel but which never was an issue to me while playing, a couple small bruises on back and bottom side (pix) and some light scratches and swirls in various typical areas.

as before, i'm selling b/c i'm not really a 5 string guy, and need to re-invest in other gear.

thanks, you're right, it is a great deal. i'm only asking a little more than i did the first time i sold it, due to the rewind costs. the first sale took less than 24 hours!

also, bass is about 9 lbs. 2 piece alder body. good neck joint and low-ish action, fully adjustable truss rod holds adjustments very well.

i was trying to sell it 2 months ago at that lower price (look closer, that's my old sale thread in the link). i closed a sale, then found out the pickups needed rewinding. the original buyer chose to pass. i paid 65$ to Lindy Fralin for a rewind and instead of a rewind he sent me a brand new set of pickups. i had paid 180$ for the original pickups. any way you slice it i'm losing money. hope that makes it more clear. thanks for looking
