I always have loved this look on a P bass. I used to own a '59 CS reissue as well. This compares quite well considering. Its got the same woodiness and resonates well. I have a good ear for the subtle characterstic "classic" Fender tones...... for example I don't believe the American Std P bass sounds nearly as good or classically "woody" as this. This has that classic warm tone you'd hear on an old record. Duncan SPB-1 sounds very vintage and I've never felt compelled to swap it. I did change out the chrome bridge for this TI Titanium bridge. If anything, it looks great and won't corrode. Its very light and I believe contributes tonally as well. Has great quartersawn rosewood! Frets are just fine, some wear, but minor for year. Couple neck and headstock dings, body is nearly perfect however. No pickup or bridge covers. Will ship in a Warwick gig bag (my favorite bag ever) to the US for $599 via paypal. Thanks for looking.
