MIJ Fender Precision, black and rosewood

Here is a great MIJ Precision, 1989. Black with rosewood board. Upgraded with a white pearloid pickguard and Bassline Quarter Pounder pickups. One non original volume knob. This was my main 4 string bass for many years, it sounded that good. Currently strung with DR Lowriders for a more modern P sound, but it can thump like the devil with flats. As you may know, the late 80s MIJ Ps are quite well regarded here and on other forums. There is some belt buckle rash on the back (like I said, it sounded good enough to use) but the front is very clean. There is some wear on the frets, but still lots left for many years. $650 shipped with a non descript gig bag.

Back of the neck, back of the headstock pics. No dings or anything. As mentioned, there is some belt buckle rash on the back of the body as this bass was used. Besides that, the rest of the back is fairly clean, as the pics show.

It was a really beautiful day when I took this shot outside. I sold my two other basses, only this one left.
