MIJ Mustang with Darkstar

SOLD

MIJ Mustang Reissue with Darkstar Pickup and Jeannie red tort pick guard. The Darkstar completely changed this bass. The tone is thunderous even though it is a short scale bass. With my LMII amp I can easily tailor tones from huge bottom end to smooth to bright, very versatile yet aggressive tone. Right now I have it strung with a new set of half wounds which I really like on this bass. The condition is at least 8.5/10. There is a very small scuff on the top of the headstock, a small nick as shown in the pic, about the size of a pencil point, and some scratches on the pick guard from playing with a pick, but you have to have the light angled just right to see them. I had the PU professionally installed at Rocket Music. I am only selling because I have recently ordered a custom bass I need to pay for and I am using my Jerry Jones Longhorn for my main gig which is an alt country band. I have over $1000 in this bass so I would like to get $700 shipped. That is less than you would pay for a new Mustang without the mods. I will also throw in the original PU and pick guard. I’ll ship with a guitar gig bag that works well for this bass and is what I use to carry it around.

No, not sure how to do clips, also always wondered how useful they really are coming out of your computer speakers, maybe if you have better speakers than mine. If it is a make it or break it for someone I might be able to get help putting something together.

The Mustang with the stock pickup sounds a little like a short scale P-Bass but plays nothing like it, the neck is very thin and fast and of course... short.
