Here all I need to do to send a bass internationally is ..... add the address & pay a bit of $$$$$- which the buyer pays anyway! I usually remove the neck- whether selling locally or internationally, box it as usual & there U go.
IS there some big difference in the way you have to do this in the USA??
Just wondering?

Just wondering? | I sent a bass to Canada once and I'll never ship internationally again. I had to prove where it was made, where the wood was from and some other stupid BS that I don't even remember. All I do remember is that it was a MAJOR hassle on MY end. So to answer your question, Yes, it would seem our customs and postal services are a pain in the ass!

When I sent a bass internationally, I just had a little extra paperwork- like 5 mins at most- & that was it.
Shame!!
Thanks for reply.

Everything went as smmmooth as peanutbutter. |
