Up for grabs is my fretless MIM Jazz Bass. I'm not much of a fretless player, and now I have a new bass project on the table and need some dough.
So this is a 1996 MIM fretless neck on a 2000 MIM body. The bass was recently setup by a local luthier and plays really nicely. I've done a few mods to it over the years :
- Gotoh 201 black bridge
- V/B/T electronics (done by me, not a pro job but nothing wrong with it)
- Neck pickup cover
- Black metal knobs
- Shielding using copper foil
- Fender no-load tone pot
It is currently strung with Chromes that have less than 5 hours play time on them. The body does have a couple of dings that I painted over using nail lacquer... the color match isn't perfect, but from a meter away it looks OK. The only real downside about this bass is that the truss rod nut is stripped. My luthier cut a slot into the nut, so it can be adjusted using a flathead screwdriver. The trussrod does work perfectly. Ships in a Squier HSC.

Would trade for a MIA or MIJ fretted Jazz bass neck with a rosewood board (plus $ on your end if necessary). If anyone in the province of Québec is interested, I can deliver anywhere between Montréal and Québec City on both shores.
