MIM fretless jazz w/case, pimped

I'm moving on this fretless jazz bass. It's an earlier MIM model (both pickups are the same length), and I've done some nice cosmetic upgrades (the pickups sound great to me as-is).

The included "upgrades" are: black pickguard (original white pickguard included), both chrome covers added, black Schaller straplocks added, knobs changed to chrome colored dome-style, and a form-fitted older Fender jazz case. The case is perfectly functional except that the top doesn't prop open ... it lays all the way flat like you'll see in the pictures.

The finish is in great shape except for a few specks of what looks like white paint. I cleaned a lot of gunk off of this after I bought it, so these may come off too, but they're hard to see unless you're close up so I didn't bother. You can see them in some of the pictures if you look at the biggest versions, but they don't look too different from the reflections in the finish. No dings that I could find anywhere on the neck.

It sounds great with plenty of mwah, and is currently strung with DR Black Beauties -- yes, these are rounds, but they sound incredible (and look hot too), and I only played for a couple hours with rounds on. The board doesn't show much wear if any.

You can find a bunch more pictures here: http://s300.photobucket.com/albums/n...retless%20MIM/

I'll ship to your door for $265 in the CONUS, or $250 plus shipping cost anywhere else. Paypal is fine, no trades (unless you have a gig bag that will hold a thunderbird as a partial trade).

Thanks! I thought it was a little on the heavy side due to the covers, but I just used the highly scientific method of weighing myself with and without the bass, and it came in around 9.8 pounds, which isn't bad. It'd weight a bit less without covers of course.
