Very tight and focused with a lot of clarity. Not something I'd expect from a P bass. The neck was very nice too. Beautiful finish, great fret work with low buzz free action.
But the overall P bass sound is probably not for me so it moved on.
Good luck with the sale!

I have a 2009 Jazz but both the Jazz and the P B's seem to be very focused. |

AS ALWAYS, if you put naff strings on, it won't be good. I'm currently stringing mine with La Bella Deep Talkin flats, and the consistency and volume between strings is perfect, as is the tension.
In short, the B is fine. |

While I have been liking the neck pickup lately, I'm not sure I can go away from a J to a P. I tried one at church and wasn't very impressed. Then again, I see that the bass player for Reba is using a bass like this and sounds fantastic. Doesn't really sound like a P. Just full and round and nice.
I think I really need a different amp before a different bass, but there is something about yours that keeps me checking out the thread. If noting else, it's one of the nicest looking P's I've seen in a while. | |

Confused as to why you're posting all this in someone's for sale ad...
