Beautiful condition, very nicely figured ash – looks great under the burst finish. I’m not positive what year it is, but I would guess 1-2 years old. Plastic’s still on the back cover, hardware’s perfect, etc. No dings I can find, but let’s be safe and call it 9.5/10. It looks new.
34” scale, very comfortable spacing for those with smaller hands (me). Board is rosewood, neck is straight, frets great. This is the third G&L I’ve owned. I love the preamp set up and the sound. I’ve only had this bass out to one gig – it just thunders, while remaining clear and articulate.
I’d never consider letting this one go, but I found myself unexpectedly overextended yesterday when I: (1) Committed my whole gear fund to a bass and then (2) Learned the guitarist from my band is leaving end of month and taking his pair of subwoofers with him. Plus, I have a couple other fivers more likely to get play. So, gotta clear the decks fast – more items to come.
