In flawless condition. With metallic rectangular case in similar shape. Great instrument with many superb sounds...unbelievably light...but I have to get rid of some inventory and the neck is a little too narrow for my meat hooks. Will post pix soon.

I had an ICON before I got this. There is no substitute in feel
or sound. The knockoffs are nice for what they are, but this
is the source.

There is no serial number on the instrument, just the Hofner made in Germany sticker. And I am not the original owner. So, I am afraid I cannot give you a date of production. But, based on its condition, I am assuming it is relatively recent. |

Two things to add
This is the Model 500/2 if that gives a clue as to earliest date of production. Also, I bought the bass from Capital Guitars (just found the card), I have sent an email to them to find out if they know the date of production... |

Heard from Capital Guitars. Instrument made in 2011.
Apparently the serial number is under the control panel, but
he knew the date of manufacture. |
