I know I will regret this later, but I am sooo happy with my Sadowsky custom P-Bass that this awesome axe will just not get enough playing time for the foreseeable future. I need additional equipment for the band, so I can't justify having more basses than I can play right now.
This is a copperburst JJ Neptune Longhorn4 with JJ's own custom wound lipstick tube pups, 4-way rotary switch tone control, Gotoh bridge with adjustable saddle pieces and Gotoh guitar tuners, a beautifully figured Indian Rosewood FB and Maple neck. If this bass weighs more than 5 pounds, I'd be shocked! It is also a shortscale (i.e. 30.5") bass, which makes it a breeze to play.
This bass is to the Dano Longhorn as a Sadowsky is to a Fender (No offense to Fender or Dano owners intended, they are both great basses!). It has the Dano vibe, but is simply superior in every way to the Dano. Put simply, it is a monster!
This bass is in absolutely mint condition. The beautiful gator leather G&G hardshell case is nearly perfect, save for a few minor scuffs from my move to Buffalo. The bass has only been played about 12 hours at most, and has never been gigged.
These basses typically sell new for $900 and up (if you can find one in stock somewhere). I am pricing mine for a quick and easy sale at $750 shipped to the CONUS. I prefer PayPal and I'll eat the fees for that as well. PM me with any questions.
