Mint SRX-650 IN GORGEOUS trans Cobalt Blue!!

Sign in to disble this ad
This is an Ibanez SRX-650 4 string active bass. I believe it is a 2008/09 model. It is absolutely in gorgeous MINT condition, no nicks or wear anywhere! It is transparent Cobalt Blue with beautiful ash wood grain showing thru. It has great ivory body and neck binding, and Gold plated hardwear. Super low action and unbelievable easy and fast fingering!! This bass has VERY high out pickups...and is much louder than an average bass on the same volume setting. I honestly had NO IDEA that these Ibbys can sound like this!! And...it's a lightweight, under 8 pounds! This is a 24 fret, 34" two-ocatve bass.

Price with orig adjusting tools, and like new gig bag is $325 firm. Swaps for a lightweight 400+ watt bass head, Fender P Basses or other interesting 4's are always welcome...throw it out to me!

From the website:

SRX-650 (Extreme)

The SRX is the new, super muscular big brother of the SR series. This is a bass that was designed for heavier playing styles and it meets that demand in a no-nonsense layout. The EQB-II DX 2-band active EQ makes it easy to find various sounds, and the now-famous SUPER HIGH OUTPUT Ibanez PFR pickups, which major artists rave about, are right there to give you that extra heavy punch. 3-way pickup switching allows for instant tonal changes.

SRX (SR-Extreme) SERIES BASICS:

Extra powerful super high output alnico magnet pickups with exposed pole pieces for extremely high output and bottom
2-band active EQs instantly dial in the maximum tones
5-string SRX models offer wide string pitch for players who find the string spacing on most 5-string basses too narrow

Ibanez SRX-650 Soundgear Electric Bass Guitar Features:

Lightweight bound ash body
Bound rosewood fingerboard
3 piece SRX4 maple neck
34" scale, 24 fret, 2 full ocatves
Accu-Cast B200 bridge
Huge Ibanez PFL-ALN alnico magnet pickups
3-way pickup selector switch
EQB-IIDX 2-band active 9-V EQ
