Kind of a feeler...I REALLY dig this bass, but I just find myself favoring my Road Worn P all the time.
This is an absolutely killer Mark Jenny/MJT '55-esque P-Bass!
AllParts neck, MJT body, finish, & relic job.
There is currently a Duncan SCPB-3 installed; I also have an Antiquity for it if you're interested (you'll want the SCPB, trust me on this ).
It currently has Hipshot Ultralites installed but I'd like to keep them (I can be swayed for $80). As you can see it originally had vintage-style tuners, those will be installed on the bass (they're relic'ed too).
There's a little bit of natural wear from me gigging with it - note the pick scratches. The rest is MJT's superb relic job.
The finger rest is a gorgeous handmade wooden example.
Comes in a new tweed hardshell case.
Very light - about 8 - 8.5 lbs with the Ultralites.
Asking $1160 Shipped & PP'd FIRM. Happy to deliver to NYC & parts of Jersey for $1100 cash!
Wow! I love it and have been pondering this same build.... But, it won't intonate with the saddle on the plate???????
To be honest, I haven't messed with it. This is how the previous owner set it up and it seems to work fine. I've gigged with this bass a whole bunch, it's solid!
