I don't know why I keep fooling myself. I'm not a good fretless player. Being a good fretless player involves putting a lot of time in. I don't have it, or at least I'm too lazy to find the time.

Trades Considered (all fretted)

EBMM Big Al 5 H
EBMM Big Al 5 SSS
EBMM Classic Stingray 5 (no red...already have one)
EBMM Bongo 5H
EBMM Bongo 5HH
Fender American P 5
Fender American J 5
Spector Euro 5
another brand J 5
Ampeg SVT VR or CL head, or possibly another tube head

you can make other offers, but I'm not looking for any low end basses.

Cash price is $1200 plus shipping, firm. Comes with FOUR pickguards. Black, white, tort, white pearl, and the hardshell EB case.

I REALLY like this bass, it just wants someone with the skill to handle the blank plank.

I know the feeling, you love the fretless tone, but you just done have or take the time to really master the instrument. The solution is to just keep a cheap fretless for plunking around.

BTW: that Big Al is SWEEEET!!!!

I normally don't like the Big Al, but this one is pretty damn sweet!

This is an original fretless. Plain pao ferro board with dot markers on the top.
