MM Sterling HH trans gold/rosewood STUNNING

$975 shipped conus SOLD
I bought this with the intention of keeping it and playing it. However, I realized this past weekend after gigging with it, it's just not going to replace my Stingray.

For you jazz bass enthusiasts, it has that narrow jazz feel neck in contrast to a Stingray for example. The two humbuckers give the beautiful axe a variety of tonal flavors with the ingenious 5 way switch. Everything about this Sterling is perfect - narry a scratch or swirly. What really separates this sterling as a man among boys is it's great woodgrain and finish. To me it looks more honey than trans gold and it has the matching headstock finish to boot. But the woodgrain is to die for. I'd almost call it "zebrawood" but I know it's ash. The grain has this striping that really can't be appreciated fully in my bad pictures.

Comes with original MM case and key. It's showing TI flats, but I'm putting rounds back on it and will adjust the bridge accordingly before shipping.

As far as weight, several attempts on my bathroom scale put it between 9.5 and 10lbs, but if I had to make an accurate guess, I'd say it closer to 10lbs than 9.5 lbd.

New Better pix!!

Shows the near zebrawood quality of this incredible peice of ash and also the very cool knot in the wood on the upper right hand corner!

Not gonna lie, I'd definitely part with my J bass for that.

An accurate weight might get more interest. Just a suggestion.
