Modded Fender MIM Jazz 5

Sign in to disble this ad
Fender MIM Jazz 5 Modded: this has been my main bass for my band for about 2 years. its a standard cherry colored 5 string MIM passive fender jazz with some modifications. It has a Hipshot A Bridge, Hipshot clover lite tuners, a Hipshot Detuner, and i have modded the pots. instead of the usual PU1/PU2/Tone knobs, the first knob is strictly volume, 2nd knob is a blender for both pickups in the middle, and bottom knob is the normal tone knob. im including the original pot as well if you'd like to switch it back. it comes with a nice soft case/bag. definitely an awesome bass, im just switching back to a 4 string for the time being. At one point i had american pickups in it vs the MIM ones and it sounded even better, but it was a little too clean for the stoner metal i was playing so i switched back. $550+shipping OBO. again, im willing to meet up with anyone as far as VA/MD/PA.

Looks like its about .718 at the bridge, and .656 at the nut. hope this helps.
