Modded Fretless Peavey T-40 FS/FT

Ok, I'm going to preface this by saying that I don't know much of anything about this bass. I got this in a trade, but just haven't been using it that much, so I figured I'd throw it up in the classifieds and see what happens. If no one wants it, I'll keep it, but I'm just throwing it out there.

As far as a sale price is concerned:
$450 $400 shipped Con US

I'd be willing to trade for a MIM Fender Jazz fretless too.

I'll do my best to answer questions, but I am at least the 4th owner and I have done no mods to this myself and neither did the owner I got it from. It's been fun to play for sure, but i'm trying to Get rid of basses I don't necessarily need.

Here's a previous sale/trade link that has more pictures.
FS Feeler: Heavily Modded Peavey T-40

Also, here's a quick spec run down from the previous thread so you dont have to click the link if you're checking this out from your phone...

Here's a quick run-down:
- Fretless neck with a new fingerboard installed (not sure of the wood - looks like it might be ebony, but I'm not an expert)

- T-40 body with a new top put on - previous owner said the top was koa (again, not a wood expert. I have no reason to doubt him, but if I'm wrong....that's where I'm getting my info).

- Grover tuners

- DiMarzio jazz pickups

Obviously none of the hardware is original. This one plays like a dream and can still achieve a lot of tonal variety.

Can you tell me what the knobs/switches do? I'm guessing v/t blend on the knobs. Also is there enough adjustment in the truss left to get a low action? Thanks

I don't have the bass nearby to double-check, but I believe you are correct about the knobs. As far as the switches are concerned, IIRC, the one closest to the volume controls the pickup selector. The big white one is a little funky because when I tried it, it makes the sound cut out in the bottom position. I forget what the bottom does exactly, but I think that is some sort of boost.

Hope that helps!

No interest in this great playing peavey?

Don't get turned off by the fact that this thing was heavily modded. It's still a great player!

Last effort bump... If this doesn't sell or get a trade offer, I will pull it for the time being. I'm not afraid to keep this one either...
