MODULUS Flea 5-String - Black w/Pearloid PG, Duncan Pickup, Aguilar Preamp, w/Case

This bass is brand new 09 (never gigged actually)

Just not my thing (I really like Jazzes and Quntams, but the MM style does not work for me). Not to mention my wife and I have another baby on the way.

Body: Alder
Neck: Graphite neck
Pickups: Bart MM-style(made to sound like the Lane Poor)
Preamp: Aguilar 3-band EQ 18 Volts
Controls: Volume, Treble, Mid, Bass
Scale: 34"
Bridge: Gotoh
Spacing at Bridge: 17.5 mm
Schaller Straplocks added

I will add the orignal
Stock Seymour Duncan MM-style(made to sound like the Lane Poor) as well if you want to switch out.

$1500 shipped and insured to the lower 48 (Firm)
(No overseas sales...Sorry)

I will add pics when I can (but for those who know...here it is).

This bass has no scratches and is Mint condition.

Trade offers

I'm getting some trade offers and the only trades that I would be interested in would be a ----

Lakland DJ 5 with a maple neck

Zon Sonus 5 (graphite neck model)

Ect...

I would be willing to do something...

Just some input on the trade offers

Hey Folks

Thanks for some of the trade offers...

Just please keep it to non-rosewood basses and no P/Js

Jazz or Soapbars are cool...

Hey Floydian

I did have it done it in the stealth mode.
I didn't even think to mention it.

Its killing me because I really wanted that MM sound to work for me in my
main gig and its not really.

I just can't keep a killer bass that is not being gigged.

Cheers

Man, that bass is on my G.A.S. list. I had one before and I miss it more than you know. Too bad you are not looking for a 1991 Warwick Streamer Stage I 4 banger in trade.

That bass is a beaut! So here is a free bump for that monster.

I have a couple questions.

first, the description says it has a 3 band preamp, but also says the controls are volume bass and treble...is there a mid control or no?

also, it says the pickup is a Duncan, but looks like a Bart in the pic.

thanks!

Exclamation Update on selling.

Ok folks

Well even though MM sound is not sitting where I want it to in the project. This bass plays and sounds as killer.

I have decided if nobody pulls the trigger by this sunday before I have practice I'm going to keep the stealth Funk 5 and make this work.

I'm not taking the trades of the table but only doing 5s and of the following (Just in case, the universe says so).

Lakland DJ + plus cash
Zon Sonus with relief system (Most likely even but depends on the top)
Sadowsky Metro +(some cash from me)
Lull + (cash from me)

If I ship $1500
Local $1400
