Modulus Genesis VJ AAA quilt top blueburst

Modulus Genesis VJ quilt top 4-string, alder body, Heavy quilted maple top with blue to purple burst that pictures don't do justice. Bartolini pick ups with 18-volt 2-band Bartolini EQ, maple/graphite neck with wild grained chechen fingerboard. Still has all the paperwork and comes with the original Modulus HSC. The only thing that keeps this bass from being dead mint is a few light scratches on the back and under the G-string from slapping. I'd be happy to buff these out before it goes to its new home.

$1500 OBO + shipping from 45014

For those who don't know, these Modulus necks rule. Graphite between layers of wood = best of all worlds.

34" scale, and I may entertain trades...

This bass looks great. I have a VJ with the all graphite neck...I only wish it was like this one. Mine has a U-Retro, which rules, if this bass had one I'd be trying to grab this thing.

I've got a U-retro deluxe sitting here I would gladly install for the cost of the pre-amp Just sayin'...

Man, I'd have to sell my bass first! Love the blue finish. Mine is exactly the same but sienna and the all graphite neck. If I could change it, I'd make it like your bass with the U-Retro. Have you thought of installing the U-Retro deluxe in this bass? If you do, you won't want to sell it. My tech installed mine--added the two switches and a separate battery compartment. The sound opened up big time.

I'm a 5-string player so I'd be limited by this guy, regardless of how nice it may be. This one has a pretty large electronics cavity so i wouldn't have to add a battery compartment. I'd also jump the East to 18 volt since there's already space

The East takes more room than you might think. You might be a 5 guy (so am I) but you'll be sorry one day.

One of the few 4's I wish I had back. Mine had a maple board, Aggie 2-band, EMG passives. All the wrong specs for my usual tastes, but it absolutely killed! One of the finest 4's I ever played... I was jonesin' for a 5 at the time, so I traded it away.

If I wasn't unemployed and overstocked on basses, I'd be all over this!
